Bimal Gandhi transitions to Uniken board advisor, and Gonzalo Alonso, former President, Uniken LATAM, succeeds Gandhi as Uniken CEO.
Chatham, NJ — November 6, 2024 — Uniken announced this week that it has undergone an executive leadership transition while also securing significant investment aimed at strengthening the company’s strategic position as a digital identity and security provider, accelerating its growth, and building its product portfolio.
The investment will enable Uniken to amplify its go-to-market strategy, bring even greater innovation to its award-winning REL-ID platform and product offerings, and expand reach into new markets. After careful consideration and in alignment with his long-term vision, Bimal Gandhi decided it is time for a new leadership approach and to leave his role as Uniken CEO. Under Gandhi’s leadership, Uniken transformed from a small company into an organization with global reach poised for accelerated growth. Gandhi remains a Uniken investor and will continue to support Uniken as a board advisor.
Gonzalo Alonso has succeeded Gandhi as CEO. Alonso was President, Uniken LATAM, for the past two years where he drove significant growth in the region. He is a seasoned corporate executive and tech visionary with a record of success at global tech giants such as Google and Microsoft as well as leading several fintech companies throughout Latin America. Alonso’s expertise and leadership experience make him well-positioned to lead Uniken into its next phase of growth and innovation.
